Formed in January '97, The Swingin' Swamis perform an eclectic set of jazz and world rhythms. Their unique stylings have caught the attention of many Baltimore institutions including: The Downtown Partnership, Maryland Art Place (MAP), The Enoch Pratt Free Library, The Preakness Celebration, The Chocolate Affair, The Jewish Museum of Maryland, Louie's Cafe, Paloma's, The Zodiac and many others. The Swamis have also provided the soundtrack for numerous weddings and private parties. Their roster currently includes: Snackie Hillman (keyboard, guitar, and vocals), Eddie Chabot (bass, vocals), Zak Fusciello (drums), John Dierker (tenor sax, clarinet) and Ron Spencer (guitar, vocals) Discography includes their self titled CD recorded at Baltimore's ACR studio.
